CNR Tibetan Radio of China Central Radio and Television (CCTV) was founded in May 1950 and was the first minority language broadcast launched by CCTV. On March 1, 2009, it became a set of comprehensive news frequencies that broadcast 18 hours a day, with the main content of reporting major news at home and abroad, reflecting the life and modernization achievements of farmers and herdsmen in Xizang and Tibetan regions, disseminating Tibetan history and culture, and providing life information, cultural and entertainment services.
